Leading magazine Creative Review decided to run a competition via their blog in relation to the “Are You Hank Marvin” marketing campaign by Saatchi & Saatchi. The brief was to develop a poster which advertised a personal “dream gig”, with the prize being a feature within their magazine and a signed guitar. My inspiration for this poster came from many which I used to see around Plymouth as a student, as well as those used by Ministry Of Sound to promote their London club events.
The poster features a number of my favourite acts and is tailored towards a major, ficticious London event, including branding for an event agency. Unfortunately this piece was not shortlisted for the competition.
